I've been taking pictures since 2007. I love it. It's everything to me.
One of my favorite quotes is by Ansel Adams, “You don't take a photograph, you make it.” and I feel that the photograph should be made with the camera. Using it to bend light and see things that are blind to the eye.
For this reason I don't use photoshop other than to do basic processing.
I take 6 pictures at once, each with they're own unique view, from the dark shadows to the bright colours.
Then I accent the individual aspects of each picture, layering them one on top of the other to creat a full and colourful canvas.
The light, the colours, the shapes in the picture are all in front of the camera, it's just capturing a different perception of the same moment in time.
A different lens to see an incredibly intricate and beautiful world through.
What this does is show you the world in high contrast, with colours at their full. It shows you the same world we live in perceived in a totally different, almost alien way.
Allowing us to see the true beauty that we constantly take for granted.
